The AJK premier said that improving quality and standard of existing colleges was incumbent government’s top priority. Regarding the restoration of Model Science College Rawalakot, he said that the government would give full consideration to the matter and the students enrolled in the college would not be allowed to suffer.
Regarding the prevailing political situation in the country [Pakistan], both the leaders agreed that the country at this very crucial juncture can not afford any kind of political instability. Pakistan they said has been surrounded by enemies who were hectically engaged in orchestrating conspiracies against the country. Given the volatile situation in the region they said that instead of dividing the nation there was dire need to forge broad-based unity and concurrence at all levels.
Expressing their grave concern over the worsening political and human rights situation in IHK, they said that Indian occupation forces were committing gross human rights violations. They said that the PDP led government in the territory has become a mere puppet in the hands of BJP that actually calls shots on the ground. They said that India on one hand has started an unannounced war in IHK and across the ceasefire line [LoC] while on the other it has initiated a covert war against Pakistan. They said that Lahore blast could be a part of this greater conspiracy, which they said was intended to destabilize Pakistan.
