Muzaffarabad: At least nine people including three women were killed and five other were injured when a jeep carrying 13 passengers fell into thousands feet deep ravine while negotiating a turn on its way from Khalana to Chakothi near the Line of Control.
According to media reports the jeep was coming from Khalana to Chakothi when it met an accident.
At least eight people died at the spot while a woman breathed last at nearby hospital.
The five injured were rushed to nearby hospital where medical treatment was being given to them.
Khursheed Abbasi, Gulzar, Haider Jan, Akbar Husain, Seyda Manzoor, Seyda Khadim, Mumtaz Rafiq, Muhammad Siddique and Bibi Jan were among the deceased.
Almost all of the deceased were residents of village Bindi Bala shah Kunja area of Khulna.
