Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) At least 708 cars have been issued challan tickets, while around 133 cars have been impounded during a crackdown by Excise and Taxation department against token tax defaulters and unregistered cars in different areas of Rawalpindi. Excise and Taxation Motor Branch personnel raided different areas of Rawalpindi and checked the token tax and documents and registration books of car, however, around 133 cars were locked-down. Challan tickets were issued to 200 cars for token tax defaulters in Rawalpindi, while 35 challans tickets were issued in Jhelum. 100 cars were issued challan tickets in Attock, while 40 cars were issued challan tickets Chakwal.
