Saudi Arabia,(Parliament Times):Pakistan’s newly appointed Consul General in Saudi Arabia, Syed Mustafa Rabbani, invited representatives of the Pakistani media community in Jeddah to visit the new building of the Consulate General of Pakistan, Jeddah. The visit included a tour of the newly constructed consulate building, an overview of the available facilities, a detailed briefing in the conference room, and a high tea reception. Senior officials present on the occasion included Ghulam Hussain, Head of Chancery (HOC), Akif Iqbal, Welfare Consular, Ms. Sadia Khan, Commercial Consular, Muhammad Irfan, Press Consular, along with other officers and staff members of the consulate. Representatives from major Pakistani media houses based in Saudi Arabia attended the event in large numbers. He added that minor technical observations and shortcomings were being identified and resolved to ensure improved services for the Pakistani community.

During the briefing session, Head of Chancery Ghulam Hussain informed participants that the consulate complex covers approximately 18,000 square meters and has been designed to provide multiple services under one roof. These include passport, NADRA, visa, emergency travel documents, attestation, trade and investment, community welfare, and Hajj wing facilities.
