    PM AJK  reaffirms PPP’s commitment to public welfare and democratic strengthening

    Muzaffarabad,(Parliament Times):Prime Minister Azad Kashmir, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, has said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), despite its short stint in power, has remained committed to public service, development, and the strengthening of democratic institutions. He expressed these views during a meeting with PPP Azad Kashmir President Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, who called on him here today. Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore said several public welfare projects launched by the present government have started to yield positive results and their impact could be felt on ground.? He reiterated that resolving public problems would continue to remain the party’s foremost priority. He also voiced his optimism that the PPP would return to power in upcoming elections on the basis of its performance. Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin said the PPP government had delivered under challenging circumstances, successfully stabilising the political environment while addressing long-standing public concerns. He noted that tangible progress had been made in development projects and the provision of basic facilities, which, he said, has helped reinforce public trust in the party.? Expressing optimism, Ch. Yasin said the PPP is well-positioned to secure a strong mandate in the forthcoming elections. During the meeting the two leaders reviewed the overall political situation and preparations for upcoming elections.Minister for Higher Education Zafar Iqbal Malik was also present in the meeting.
