Muzaffarabad,(Parliament Times):An intellectual, educational, and reformative conference was successfully held at its scheduled time in the hall of a local hotel, with a large number of women in attendance. Women from different schools of thought also participated. The theme of the conference was “The Role of Muslim Women from the Contemporary Era to the Nearness of the Day of Judgment,” on which the speakers presented detailed and in-depth discussions.
The conference was hosted by the distinguished religious scholar Ms. Syeda Rukhsanda Kazmi, and it was a remarkable achievement of her and her team to organize the event so successfully. It was perhaps the first time that such a large hall was filled entirely with women. In terms of its purpose, the conference served as a kind of refresher course, reminding women of their true status.
On this occasion, Ms. Syeda Rukhsanda Kazmi stated that Islam has granted women a very high status, and that a Muslim woman has been entrusted by Allah Almighty with a fundamental role in terms of rights and responsibilities. She urged women to recognize their religious and moral duties so that they can provide the best upbringing to the new generation.
Participants also emphasized that women are not merely individuals but institutions in themselves, and that the direction of an entire nation is shaped by their role. The conference proved to be an effective platform for promoting confidence, religious awareness, and practical engagement among women.
