Quetta,(Parliament Times):Senior Provincial Minister of Balochistan, member of the Pakistan Peoples Party’s Central Committee, Parliamentary Leader, and Provincial Minister for Irrigation, Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, has responded to a recent statement by Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, saying that claims about the transfer of development funds from District Bolan to Dera Bugti or any other area are mere speculation.
Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani stated that development projects in Bolan and its adjoining areas are temporarily stalled due to tribal disputes. Therefore, expressing concerns that the funds have been shifted elsewhere is contrary to the facts.
The Provincial Minister further added that Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind is among the influential personalities of the region, and if he supports ongoing efforts to resolve tribal disputes and help establish peace, work on these development projects can resume soon.
Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani emphasized that the development funds allocated for Bolan have neither been transferred nor will anyone be allowed to divert them elsewhere. He said the government’s top priority is to ensure that funds allocated for all regions of the province are spent in their respective areas without any hindrance, so that the people across the province can benefit from development projects.
