Massive PPP Rally in Sakran signals rising political strength
Hub/Sakran,(Parliament Times):A magnificent and historic public gathering of the Pakistan Peoples Party was held in Nasir Qalandarani Goth, Sakran, where thousands of people participated and demonstrated their overwhelming public strength.
Senior Vice President of the Pakistan Peoples Party, spokesperson for President Asif Ali Zardari, and former provincial minister Mir Ali Hasan Zehri attended the event as a special guest. Upon his arrival, party workers and the public gave him a warm welcome, filling the venue with enthusiasm and excitement.
Addressing the gathering, speakers praised the performance of the Pakistan Peoples Party and stated that the development work carried out in Sakran within just one year had not been achieved in the past 40 years.
The speakers emphasized that the PPP has once again proven itself to be a true public party that understands and resolves the issues faced by the people.
In his address, Mir Ali Hasan Zehri said that a new era of development has begun in Sakran. He shared that construction of 10 major roads has already been completed, while work on establishing a Cadet College is underway. He also termed granting Sakran the status of a tehsil as a significant milestone.
He further announced that during the current fiscal year, more than 26 kilometers of roads will be constructed in various villages, along with the establishment of 8 new primary and middle schools. In Hassan Pir, 7 schools have already been completed.
Criticizing the Bhootani brothers, he said that despite remaining in power for years, they failed to deliver for the public and are now attempting to obstruct development projects. He stated clearly, “We are here to work, not to be stopped.”
Mir Ali Hasan Zehri added that establishing a hospital in Sakran, resolving electricity issues, and separating feeders are among the top priorities to provide real relief to the public.
He also announced that along with the Cadet College, separate degree colleges for boys and girls will be established in Sakran to expand educational opportunities.
He further revealed that Shafiq ur Rehman Mengal has joined the Pakistan Peoples Party, which will strengthen the party across Khuzdar and the wider region.
At the end of the event, Mir Bahram Qalandarani presented a traditional rifle to Mir Ali Hasan Zehri as a gift, making it a special and memorable moment of the gathering.
