Wahh Factory,(Parliament Times): The Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, while terming Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) as the party of labourers, farmers and peasants, has said that it was established with the objective of protecting public rights and promoting social justice.Addressing a public gathering at Wah Factory, he said Zulfikar Ali Bhutto ended the influence of landowners by introducing the green passport policy, which enabled millions of Pakistanis and Kashmiris to secure employment abroad and support their families.
He described the ZAB’s initiative as a key milestone in strengthening the country working class economically.He said Benazir Bhutto continued the same legacy, prioritising democracy, public service and workers’ rights, which, he added, keeps PPP supporters aligned with her political ideology.The prime minister said the current leadership under Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Faryal Talpur was working to strengthen the party and address public issues.He stressed that workers remain PPP’s core strength and the main reason for its continued political relevance.Expressing confidence in the party’s electoral prospects, he said PPP, with public support, would form the next government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He reiterated that the party has consistently advocated democracy, public welfare and the Kashmir cause.?Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore also urged party workers to expand outreach, strengthen public contact, and intensify preparations for the upcoming elections.
