QUETTA,(Parliament Times): Senior central leader of Pakistan Peoples Party, Senior Vice President of PPP Balochistan, and spokesperson to President Asif Ali Zardari for Balochistan, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, has stated that President Asif Ali Zardari is closely observing the current political situation in Balochistan and is personally monitoring all matters to ensure sustainable political stability, public confidence, and the continuation of the development process in the province.

In a detailed press statement, he said that all concerns of party workers, leaders, office-bearers, and ministers will be addressed on a priority basis, as Pakistan Peoples Party has always remained committed to democratic values, public service, and the politics of development. He added that the trust expressed by the people of Balochistan will not be compromised, and the rights of party workers will be safeguarded at every level.

Mir Ali Hassan Zehri further stated that former Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri and Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo have been assigned special responsibilities by the President to resolve the concerns of allied parties, party leadership, and workers through mutual consultation at the earliest, and to promote political harmony.

He added that President Asif Ali Zardari will chair important and decisive meetings after his visit to China, during which the overall political and social situation of the country, including Balochistan, will be reviewed in detail. Important decisions are expected in these meetings that will pave new avenues for development, prosperity, and stability in the province. He also termed the expected visit of the President to Gwadar as an important step in this regard.

Mir Ali Hassan Zehri emphasized that the development and prosperity of Balochistan is not only the vision of the President but also a core part of the Pakistan Peoples Party’s manifesto. He said that the people of the province are determined for the development and bright future of their land, and the PPP is taking practical steps to turn this vision into reality.

He noted that certain policies and approaches have created an impression that elected representatives, ministers, and party workers are being overlooked, which is unacceptable under any circumstances. He stated that PPP will not compromise on the rights of its workers and will discourage any such behavior that goes against the collective interest and organizational strength of the party.

He further said that both security forces and the people have rendered immense sacrifices for peace and stability in Balochistan, which are recognized by the entire nation. As a result of these sacrifices, opportunities for improvement have emerged in the province, and PPP is determined to utilize these opportunities to put Balochistan on the path of development.

Mir Ali Hassan Zehri stated that consultation, mutual respect, and effective inclusion of workers within the party will be ensured at every level, as strong and confident workers are the party’s real asset. He expressed confidence that in the coming days, effective measures will be taken to further strengthen unity, harmony, and trust within the party.

Concluding his statement, he said that Pakistan Peoples Party will continue its mission of public service in Balochistan and will further accelerate development projects, provision of basic facilities, and public welfare initiatives to transform the province into a developed, prosperous, and stable region, ensuring real relief for the people.
