Islamabad,(Parliament Times):The International Veterinary Students’ Association (IVSA) Rawalakot, with the support of its Standing Committee on Career Attributes (SCOCA), successfully organized a “Training New Trainers” (TNT) event at the University of Poonch Rawalakot.
The event aimed to enhance the professional competencies and leadership skills of veterinary students through a series of engaging sessions and practical activities.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by an insightful introduction by SCOCA Chairperson Muhammad Abdul Samad, who highlighted the objectives of the initiative. The Chief Guest, Dr. Tahir (District Livestock & Poultry Development Officer), addressed the participants and shared valuable insights on real-world challenges and opportunities in the veterinary field.
Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed, Dean Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, emphasized the importance of practical skills and professional training in shaping successful careers.
A comprehensive training session was conducted by Dr. Mubashir Ali Khaliq, focusing on public health awareness, public speaking, and interactive learning activities. An essay writing competition and public speaking sessions were also held, with outstanding participants receiving cash prizes and awards, including recognition for Best Speaker.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates and a dinner hosted in honor of the participants. The organizers and facilitators were appreciated for their efforts in making the event a great success.
