AKNS leadership and media figures praise the newspaper’s commitment to responsible and unbiased reporting
Islamabad,(Parliament Times):Office-bearers and members from the Islamabad and Rawalpindi chapters of the All Kashmir Newspapers Society (AKNS), the largest representative body of Azad Kashmir’s newspaper industry, actively participated in a dignified ceremony marking the 24th anniversary of Kashmir Express.
On the occasion, the anniversary cake was cut by AKNS President and Chief Editor Zahid Tabassum, along with Editor Shamim Ashraf.

The guests were warmly welcomed and presented with bouquets upon arrival.
Speakers at the event lauded Kashmir Express for its long-standing journalistic services, describing it as a responsible, unbiased, and effective platform for highlighting public issues.
Addressing the ceremony, speakers noted that over the past 24 years, Kashmir Express has upheld the highest standards of journalism and established a strong identity not only in Azad Kashmir but also at the national level. They emphasized that, in the present era, truthful and responsible journalism is more essential than ever, and Kashmir Express is playing a commendable role in this regard.
The speakers also appreciated the efforts of Chief Editor Zahid Tabassum, Editor Shamim Ashraf, and their team, expressing hope that the organization will continue to serve as the voice of the people with the same dedication and professionalism, further expanding its contributions to journalism.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, participants extended their best wishes for the continued success of Kashmir Express and prayed for the organization’s growth and stability.
