Paris,(Parliament Times):Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Forum France and former Coordinator to the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir for Europe, Chaudhry Naeem Akhtar, has stated that Pakistan’s effective and successful diplomacy has further strengthened its role in the region, while India is facing intense diplomatic pressure and criticism due to its foreign policy.
Expressing these views while talking to the media, he said that Pakistan has taken excellent steps to improve security and diplomatic relations, which has led to an improvement in the ranking of its passport. Recent regional and global diplomatic developments—particularly progress related to a ceasefire between Iran and the United States, along with ongoing diplomatic activities in Islamabad—have highlighted Pakistan’s positive and responsible role.
He added that the effects of this situation are also being felt in India, where various political circles are strongly criticizing the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, including the Indian National Congress.
He further stated that Pakistan’s foreign policy is based on peace, dialogue, and regional stability, as a result of which the country’s global standing has improved. In contrast, India’s policies are facing questions from multiple quarters, increasing political pressure within the country.
He reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue its diplomatic efforts to promote peace, cooperation, and stability in the region.
