Islamabad,(Parliament Times): Central leader of Pakistan Peoples Party, spokesperson for Asif Ali Zardari, and Senior Vice President PPP Balochistan, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, while paying tribute to Quaid-e-Awam Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, stated that his role in the drafting and approval of the unanimous 1973 Constitution was extremely significant. In his statement, he said that April 10, 1973, marks that golden day in Pakistan’s history when the nation received its unanimously agreed Islamic and democratic Constitution. This day stands as a milestone in the country’s political history, when all political parties came together to approve a Constitution based on Islamic principles while strengthening democratic traditions. This Constitution provided Pakistan with a strong, stable, and constitutional foundation, clearly defining the path for the country’s future. Mir Ali Hassan Zehri further said that at this historic moment, under the leadership of Quaid-e-Awam, the people of Pakistan were given a Constitution that not only guaranteed their political rights but was also rooted in social justice and equality.
He added that the courageous leadership and political vision of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto provided Pakistan with a Constitution that recognized the people’s right to rule and set the country on a democratic and constitutional path. His struggle and determination played a key role in shaping this Constitution, which brought stability to Pakistan’s politics and gave the people the authority to determine their destiny within a unanimous constitutional framework. Meanwhile, speaking about development initiatives, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri said that in District Hub, hundreds of public welfare development projects are progressing rapidly under the Hub Master Plan, which will further improve the provision of facilities to the public upon completion. He further stated that under the wise and dynamic leadership of Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, along with senior leaders, the Pakistan Peoples Party is strengthening its roots among the people and fulfilling its promises.
He urged the brave people and workers of District Hub to maintain unity in their ranks, expressing confidence that victory will belong to the people, and that the journey of providing facilities, sustainable development, and prosperity for the people of Hub will continue successfully.
