“Student Safety at Risk: The School-Hour Gridlock in Turbat”

    Halima   Abdul Rauf

I wish to highlight the dangerous traffic chaos near Delta School and Sayad Hashmi High School during peak hours (7:30–8:30 AM and 1:00–2:00 PM). In areas like Jamay e Masjid Road and near the Central Jail vicinity, reckless double-parking and a lack of traffic police have turned school zones into bottlenecks.

This gridlock doesn’t just cause delays; it prevents students from crossing safely and blocks emergency ambulances. I urge the Turbat traffic police to deploy officers during these windows and call on schools to strictly enforce designated drop-off zones. We must act now before a preventable accident occurs. this conversation is important
