London ,(Parliament Times): Raja Changeez Khan, a prominent leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Azad Jammu and Kashmir UK, has stated that the success of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a living testament to the strong, historical, and everlasting relations between Pakistan and China. In a conversation with the media, Mr. Khan remarked that CPEC is proving to be a transformative milestone for Pakistan’s economic landscape, with its benefits manifesting through regional prosperity, the creation of diverse job opportunities, and a monumental improvement in national infrastructure.
He highlighted that the project was initiated in 2015 by the then-Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in collaboration with the Chinese leadership, and today, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is playing a highly effective role in ensuring its continued implementation and expansion.Mr. Khan emphasized that the Pak-China friendship has stood the test of time, with both nations consistently standing by each other through every challenge. He noted that CPEC is playing a pivotal role in elevating this strategic partnership to new heights. According to the PML-N leader, significant progress has been achieved under the corridor in the energy, road network, port development, and industrial sectors, providing much-needed stability to the national economy.He further asserted that the PML-N leadership, by laying the foundation for this grand project, set the country on a definitive path toward progress. Raja Changeez Khan reaffirmed the commitment of the PML-N AJK UK chapter to continue supporting the country’s stability. He added that the organization remains dedicated to mobilizing overseas Pakistanis and Kashmiris, encouraging them to play an active and effective role in the ongoing process of national construction and development.
