Japan,(Parliament Times): Haji Syed Saleem Shah, Chairman of the Ahl-e-Bait Foundation Japan, stated that the recent visit of Syed Qamar Raza Shah, Chairman of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), to Japan proved to be highly successful and productive, and its long-term positive effects will soon become evident.He said that this visit has given new hope and encouragement to the Pakistani community living in Japan, and for the first time, their issues were seriously heard at such a high level. While talking to the media, Haji Syed Saleem Shah explained that during his visit, the OPF Chairman met with Pakistanis residing in various cities, listened to their concerns in detail, and issued instructions to the relevant authorities for the immediate resolution of urgent matters.He further stated that members of the community highlighted problems related to education, employment, legal matters, and property issues in Pakistan, and assurances were given that these would be resolved on a priority basis.He added that Syed Qamar Raza Shah emphasized that overseas Pakistanis are a valuable asset to the country, and their welfare is among the government’s top priorities. He said that OPF is not only working to protect the rights of overseas Pakistanis but is also introducing modern and effective systems to address their issues.
Haji Syed Saleem Shah mentioned that during the visit, it was also agreed to further strengthen the connections between the community and OPF, while emphasizing the need for practical steps to make OPF services more active in Japan in the future.
He noted that the Pakistani community appreciated the efforts of the OPF Chairman and welcomed this initiative. He expressed hope that as a result of this visit, not only will the problems of Pakistanis living in Japan be reduced, but people-to-people relations between Pakistan and Japan will also be further strengthened.He concluded by saying that if such visits continue regularly, the confidence of overseas Pakistanis will be further restored, enabling them to play a more effective role in the country’s development.
