Attock,(Parliament Times): According to details, the police of Fateh Jang, during routine patrolling, received information from a confidential source that several individuals were engaged in gambling with playing cards in an open area at Dhok Kair near Dera Sultan Khan.
Acting promptly, the police team formed a raiding party and conducted a raid using an appropriate strategy. During the raid, several individuals were found gambling. Upon seeing the police, they attempted to flee after mixing up the cash placed as bets.
However, 9 individuals were apprehended on the spot. The arrested persons were identified as Sultan Khan, Noor Zaman, Gulzar Hussain Shah, Zaheer Hussain, Kifayat Hussain, Abrar Hussain, Bahram Khan, Bashir Ahmed, and Imran Yousaf.
The police recovered a total amount of Rs. 416,000 from the scene and took it into custody. A case has been registered against the accused.
