MIRPUR ( AJK),(Parliament Times): Veteran Kashmiri trade union leader and Supreme Head of Markazi Anjuman e Tajran (Ittehad Group) Chaudhry Mahmood has expressed full solidarity with the oppressed innocent people of Palestine on  International Quds Day observed across the globe on Friday.

“we commemorate the Palestine Solidarity Day every year not just a geographical location, but as a symbol of resistance against oppression, illegal occupation, and injustice being done by the aggressor and illegal occupant of the land -Israel, Mahmood said while talking to newsmen.here on Friday
“The plight of the Palestinian people resonates deeply with the struggle of Kashmiris for self-determination and freedom”, he observed
Mahmood  continued that the brutal forced illegal occupation of Muslims’ sanctified land of Palestine, characterized by illegal settlements, land confiscations, and systematic human rights violations, is a stark reminder of the urgency to address the root causes of conflict and oppression worldwide.
“Strongly condemning continual siege of Gaza, recent destruction of past over three years particularly,  the expansion of illegal settlements in the West Bank, and the displacement of Palestinian families from their homes are flagrant violations of international law and basic human decency”, he said.

The struggle for Palestine is not just a Palestinian issue; it is a global struggle for justice, human rights, and the dignity of all peoples.
Mahmood   called upon the international community to uphold its moral and legal obligations to hold Israel accountable for its crimes against the Palestinian people. The ongoing occupation and apartheid regime cannot be tolerated in the 21st century. It is incumbent upon all nations to support the Palestinian people in their quest for freedom, justice, and equality, he observed.
“On this International Quds Day, let us recommit ourselves to the principles of solidarity and resistance. Let us stand united against imperialism, colonialism, and oppression in all its forms. Together, we can build a world where every person, regardless of their race, religion, or nationality, can live in peace and dignity”, he emphasised.
