Quetta,(Parliament Times): Deputy Chairman Senate, Senator Syedal Khan, visited the families of the police officers and personnel who were martyred in recent tragic incidents of terrorism in Balochistan. During the meetings, he expressed his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families and assured them that the entire nation stands with them in their grief and sorrow. He said that the sacrifices of these brave sons of the soil will always be remembered with honor and respect.
The Deputy Chairman Senate stated that the courageous officers and personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty while protecting the country and safeguarding the lives and property of citizens are a precious asset of the nation. He paid rich tribute to their bravery and dedication, noting that these young heroes fought on the front lines against terrorism without any regard for their own lives and played a vital role in ensuring peace and security in Balochistan.
Senator Syedal Khan also paid tribute to the services of the martyrs and met with the families of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mir Faisal Rasheed, SHO Zubair Buzdar, SHO Sariab Road Mahmood Khan Bazai, Constable Abdul Ghani Kharoti, and other martyrs of the terrorism incidents. He expressed deep sorrow over their loss and offered prayers for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and for patience and strength for the bereaved families.
He further stated that the officers and personnel of Balochistan Police have always remained on the front lines in the fight against terrorism and have rendered remarkable sacrifices. These sacrifices, he said, clearly demonstrate the unwavering commitment of Pakistan’s security institutions to safeguard peace, stability, and prosperity in the country. The entire nation salutes the bravery and sacrifices of its police officers and personnel.
The Deputy Chairman Senate emphasized that supporting and consoling the families of martyrs is a shared responsibility of the state and society. He reaffirmed that the government and relevant institutions are committed to providing every possible assistance and facilitation to the families of the martyrs so that they may continue their lives
with dignity and pride in the sacrifices of their loved ones.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Chairman Senate also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of the father of Syed Ameen Marwat, Security In-charge to the Chief Minister of Balochistan. He prayed for the forgiveness and higher ranks of the deceased and extended his sympathies to the bereaved family, stating that he stands with them in this difficult time.
Senator Syedal Khan reiterated that the fight against terrorism will be taken to its logical conclusion and the sacrifices of the martyrs will never be allowed to go in vain. He added that the sacrifices of police and other security institutions for peace, stability, and the rule of law serve as a guiding light for the entire nation.
At the conclusion of the meetings, prayers (Fateha) were offered for the departed souls of the martyrs and special prayers were made for peace, security, progress, and stability in the country.
