Rawalakot,(Parliament Times): A family from Khurdak, Azad Pattan, had a terrifying accident when their Mehran car plunged into a dam near Azad Pattan. According to sources, the car was being driven by a woman and had two children on board.
Reports indicate that the vehicle suddenly went out of control on the Kashmir side, a short distance from the Pattan Bridge, and fell into the dam.
Miraculously, both children survived the fall from the car. The children are students of Pearl Valley School and are grandchildren of a local resident, Inayat.
The woman driving the car sustained serious injuries and was immediately taken to Pallandri Hospital. After receiving initial treatment there, she was referred to CMH Rawalakot for further medical care.
