    TEVTA-AJK bids farewell to Secretary Dr. Masood Ahmed Bukhari for his remarkable services

    Muzaffarabad,(Parliament Times):

    A farewell ceremony in honor of Secretary / Chief Operating Officer AJKTEVTA, Dr. Masood Ahmed Bukhari, was held at the AJKTEVTA Complex, New Prime Minister House, Jalalabad on the occasion of his retirement. The ceremony was attended by Chairman / Ex-Officio Secretary AJKTEVTA  Mirza Amir Mehmood, officers of AJKTEVTA and  Trade Testing Board (TTB), principals of Vocational Training Institutes (VTIs) and staff members.
    During the ceremony, speakers paid tribute to Dr. Masood Ahmed Bukhari’s services, leadership and contributions to the promotion of the TVET sector. His key initiatives included coordination with NAVTTC, reforms in the Trade Testing Board, introduction of TVET courses in private institutions, schools, colleges, and madrasas, as well as initiatives under the Prime Minister Youth Skill Development Program and the Industrial Cluster Training Program. His efforts also led to the revival of VTC Madinah Market, establishment of VTI Patika (Naseerabad), activation of VTI Jhelum Valley and Haveli, renovation of VTI Bagh, and promotion of the traditional Kashmiri craft Paper Mache through training programs across AJK.
    On this occasion, shields, souvenirs and gifts were presented to him in recognition of his services. Participants expressed their best wishes for his future, while Dr. Masood Ahmed Bukhari thanked the Chairman, officers and staff for their support and appreciated the opportunity to serve AJKTEVTA. He also expressed hope that the authority will continue to advance technical and vocational education and skill development for the youth of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
