    Highway hazards

    Shokat Baloch

I am writing this letter to express my concern about the increasing highway hazards in our country. Highways are very important for travel and transportation, but nowadays they have become dangerous for drivers and passengers. One of the main problems on highways is over-speeding. Many drivers do not follow speed limits and drive very fast. This often causes serious accidents. Another problem is careless driving. Some drivers use mobile phones while driving or do not pay attention to the road. Poor road conditions are also a hazard. In many places, highways have broken roads, potholes, and unclear road signs. In our country, many roads are very narrow, which causes many accidents.

There is also heavy traffic on highways, which makes travel difficult. Because of these problems, development is also affected. Pollution is increasing, and it is becoming difficult for the public, students, and businessmen to travel safely.Because of these hazards, many people lose their lives and many families suffer. The government should take strong steps to solve this problem. Traffic rules should be strictly followed, and drivers should be educated about road safety.
