MIRPUR (AJK),(Parliament Times):
March 1st: The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) – (Yasin Malik) on Sunday vehemently condemned the joint military aggression of America and Israel over the Islamic Republic of Iran as it falls in violation of international law.
The JKLF (Y) chief spokesman, Muhammad Rafiq Dar,
in a statement issued from party’s central information office, termed the attack on Iran as unilateral aggression over an Independent and sovereign country killing innocent Irani people including men, women and children, and damaging the properties.
The JKLF urges both the sides, especially to USA, to exhibit restraint by stoping the ongoing bloody war and expects them to respond to world’s call for diplomatic resolution of the issues, the statement read.
The JKLF spokesman extends deep grief over the demise of Iranian Supreme Leader Syed Ali Khamenei along with his family members in air attack launched by USA and Israel. He termed the attack as barbaric, inhuman, deplorable and condemnable.
According to the JKLF statement, the spokesman has expressed deep concern and sorrow over the worsening situation at border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. He said that the people of both the neighbouring countries look very much worried over the aggravating situation as they have been enjoying brotherly relations until recent past.
JKLF urges both the countries to respect the territorial integrity of each other and normalise their relations as early as possible. The Kashmiri people do not want them fall prey to any regional or international conspiracy, the spokesman added.
Meanwhile, the JKLF has very strongly condemned the frustrated Indian act of issuing arrest warrants against its party leaders and Kashmiri expatriates namely; Raja Muzaffar Khan (USA – the JKLF Founding Member and close associate of Maqbool Butt Shaheed and Amanullah Khan Late), JKLF Chief Spokesman Muhammad Rafiq Dar and JKLF Vice Chairman Saleem Haroon including two non party Kashmiri expatriates Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai (USA) and Ershad Malik (UK).
The spokesman has termed the issuance of arrest warrants against the pro-freedom Kashmiri political leadership by the current Modi led government of India as a part of their aggressive policy to subdue and silence the popular demand of national liberation of Jammu Kashmir by its natives.
The spokesman in the statement has reiterated party’s resolve to continue with the peaceful political and diplomatic struggle for freedom of the State of Jammu Kashmir and people’s right to self-determination. He also vowed to continue with the efforts, nationally or internationally through any peaceful available means, in highlighting the injustices met with the incarcerated party chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik and other pro-freedom political prisoners languishing in Indian jails in concocted and politically motivated cases filed against them.
