Quetta,(Parliament Times): Balochistan’s Senior Provincial Minister and Irrigation Minister, Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, strongly condemned the unprovoked firing by Afghan Taliban along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. He stated that the continuous cross-border incursions by terrorists from Afghanistan and the resulting terrorist incidents in Pakistan clearly indicate the existence of safe havens for these elements in Afghanistan.
He recalled that Pakistan has hosted Afghan refugees with dignity for over half a century, yet in return, the country continues to face persistent terrorism from across the border. He praised Pakistan’s security forces for their timely and effective actions, emphasizing that the people of Pakistan and institutions responsible for maintaining law and order will never compromise on national defense and territorial integrity.
