Islamabad,(Parliament Times):
Senior Provincial Vice President of Pakistan Peoples Party Balochistan and Provincial Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, while rejecting Mehmood Khan Achakzai’s recent statement, strongly condemned it and said: Who is Mehmood Khan Achakzai to demand the resignation of the Chief Minister of Balochistan? He has neither constitutional, moral, nor public authority to do so. The provincial minister said that Mehmood Khan Achakzai’s entire political career has been based on statements against the country and the nation, double standards, and the spread of unrest, for which there is a clear and undeniable record. When such individuals talk about democracy, the constitution, and the public mandate, it is nothing but a bitter joke. He said that the Chief Minister of Balochistan is the elected representative of the people, and the authority to remove or retain him rests solely with the people and constitutional forums, not with those elements who, in every era, have made speaking against state institutions and national interests the core of their politics.
The provincial minister further said that the current provincial government is taking practical steps for the development of Balochistan, peace and order, and public welfare, while people like Mehmood Khan Achakzai seek cheap fame only through rhetoric, hatred, and unrest. Minister for Agriculture Mir Ali Hassan Zehri clarified that the people of Balochistan have now become aware and clearly recognize who is serving the province and who is trying to mislead the nation for personal and political interests. Such irresponsible statements are not taken seriously by either the government or the public. Mir Ali Hassan Zehri said that Mehmood Khan Achakzai should first hold himself accountable for his political role and past, because at every critical moment his stance has always been against the state, the constitution, and national unity. Claims of democracy and transparency from such a person are mere hypocrisy with no connection to ground realities.
He said that the challenges currently facing Balochistan cannot be solved through provocative statements, allegations, and politics of hatred, but through practical work, serious leadership, and public service, which the current provincial government is carrying out day and night. Development projects, basic facilities, and public welfare initiatives are clear proof of the government’s performance. The provincial minister further said that some elements cannot tolerate peace, development, and stability in Balochistan, and therefore are making failed attempts to mislead the public through irresponsible statements, but the aware people of Balochistan have now completely rejected such conspiratorial politics. Mir Ali Hassan Zehri made it clear that the government will neither bow to pressure nor deviate from its constitutional path. The mandate given by the people is a trust, and that trust will be protected at all costs. No compromise will be made on Balochistan’s development, the rights of its people, and the province’s bright future.
He said that those who lecture on morality today, history bears witness that these same people have always tried to harm national interests. Such elements’ statements were neither important in the past, nor are they today, nor will they be in the future. Mir Ali Hassan Zehri said that the people will never accept divisive language and opportunistic politics. History bears witness that standing with the nation in difficult times is the true mark of leadership.
