Senior Provincial Minister of Balochistan, Member of the Central Committee of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Parliamentary Leader, and Provincial Minister for Irrigation, Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, has strongly condemned the recent terrorist incidents in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan.
In a statement issued on Saturday, he said that anti-state elements are attempting to destroy peace and law and order in the province through such acts, which will never be allowed. He emphasized that the current provincial government is seriously working for the development of Balochistan, public welfare, and the establishment of peace and stability, due to which the province is moving steadily towards progress.
Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani stated that terrorist elements, acting on the directives of their foreign handlers, are trying to sabotage development and prosperity through insecurity, but these attempts will fail. He praised the law-enforcement agencies for their timely and effective actions in foiling the attacks and said they deserve appreciation.
He further said that such cowardly acts will never intimidate the government, and reaffirmed that the government will fulfill its commitment to the progress and prosperity of the province and the country with the support of the people and state institutions, without hesitation or compromise.
