Chairperson of the Senate Standing Committee on Human Rights, Senator Samina Mumtaz Zehri, strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in various districts of Balochistan including Quetta, Noshki, Mastung, Kalat, Kharan, Gwadar, and Pasni. She said that these cowardly acts by terrorists of Fitna-e-Hindustan, backed by India, are not only a malicious attempt to target innocent lives but also an attack on Pakistan’s peace, sovereignty, and national security, which cannot be tolerated under any circumstances. In her condemnation statement, she expressed deep sorrow and anger over the terrorist attacks in different cities of Balochistan and said that targeting government installations and sensitive locations in Quetta and other cities is clear evidence of the enemy’s vile mindset and desperation. However, our brave security forces, through professionalism, timely action, and extraordinary courage, crushed the terrorists’ evil intentions, which is a source of pride for the entire nation.
Senator Samina Mumtaz Zehri said that the entire nation stands united and in full solidarity with the Pakistan Army, FC, Police, Levies, and other law enforcement agencies against the scourge of terrorism and will not hesitate to make any sacrifice in this fight. She said that hostile forces want to sabotage Balochistan’s journey toward peace, development, and stability, but the aware people of Balochistan have always defeated anti-state conspiracies and will continue to do so. She said that those who spread fear and terror through terrorism have no connection with religion, nationality, or humanity, and there is no place for such elements on Pakistan’s soil. She made it clear that the state will continue its struggle with full strength and resolve until the menace of terrorism is eliminated, and the nation, united, will defeat every conspiracy.
Senator Samina Mumtaz Zehri said that in the current circumstances, national unity, patience, courage, and solidarity are needed more than ever, and the entire nation must stand shoulder to shoulder with its security institutions to crush the enemy’s evil designs. She expressed confidence that the nation will emerge victorious in the war against terrorism and will not hesitate to make any sacrifice to eradicate this menace. She further said that shedding the blood of innocent people for a few rupees while serving foreign masters will never be forgiven, and these terrorists will soon be sent to hell. She said that a few elements are continuously engaged in failed attempts to sabotage peace in Balochistan, which will not be allowed to succeed under any circumstances. She also offered special prayers for the elevated ranks of the martyrs, the speedy recovery of the injured, and the establishment of lasting peace in the country.
