Political, social, and business figures unite in grief, praying for the departed soul and strength for the family
Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Political, social, and business leaders from various walks of life expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Dr. Naveed, brother-in-law of former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan.
Those who offered condolences included former President and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Alhaj Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, President of PPP Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Muhammad Yaseen, General Secretary of PPP Azad Kashmir and government minister Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, government ministers Sardar Mir Akbar Khan, Chaudhry Yasir Sultan, Diwan Ali Chughtai, Member of Assembly Chaudhry Ali Shan Soni, Member of Kashmir Council Khawaja Tariq Saeed, former government advisor Hafiz Muhammad Sagheer, former Additional Advocate General Raja Ijaz, former duty officer Qazi Atiq-ur-Rehman, and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s private secretary Haji Shakeel Ahmed.
Also present were Kashmir Council member Shuja Rathore, young social and business leader Sardar Ammar Zahid, prominent businessman Raja Azam, Sardar Abu Bakr, Barrister Sardar Ali, Chaudhry Abid, Chaudhry Muskeen, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Bagh Major (R) Abdul Qayyum Baig, and Major (R) Tariq, who personally met Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan to offer their condolences.
All attendees recited Fatiha for the departed soul and extended heartfelt sympathy to Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan and his family. Government advisor Sardar Ahmed Sagheer was also present.
The leaders prayed that Allah grants the departed soul a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and blesses the grieving family with patience and strength.
