    Pakistan showcases Tourism Potential at World Travel Market London 2025

    London, (Shahzad Ali) : Pakistan made a significant impact at the world-renowned World Travel Market (WTM) London 2025, highlighting the country’s rich and diverse tourism potential to a global audience.

    High Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Faisal, alongside representatives from the Pakistan High Commission, actively engaged in the event, emphasizing the importance of promoting Pakistan’s image and showcasing its vibrant tourism opportunities. Their efforts reflect a proactive approach to elevating the country’s standing on the international tourism stage.

    Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Gulbar Khan, also attended the WTM London exhibition, where he explored the Pakistan Pavilion and interacted with international delegates. He emphasized that Gilgit-Baltistan, known for its stunning mountains, tranquil lakes, and adventure tourism prospects, is an attractive destination for travelers worldwide.

    The participation of Pakistan at this prestigious event was coordinated by the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), in collaboration with various tourism development organizations, including the Gilgit-Baltistan Tourism Development (GBTD), Sindh Tourism Development Corporation (STDC), and the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP), alongside private sector partners.

    Officials noted that Pakistan’s engagement at WTM London demonstrates the country’s commitment to establishing itself as a premier destination for adventure, cultural heritage, and eco-tourism in South Asia. This initiative has garnered appreciation from the Pakistani and Kashmiri community in the United Kingdom, who acknowledged the dedicated efforts of High Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Faisal and his team in enhancing Pakistan’s representation at international forums.

    Overall, this engagement not only promotes tourism but also fosters cultural exchange and collaboration on a global scale, paving the way for future growth in Pakistan’s tourism sector.
