Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : Former President and Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Parliamentary Leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party, and Member of the Legislative Assembly, Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, has said that the Pakistan Armed Forces have once again proven themselves to be among the best in the world by responding decisively to the menace of Khawarij (extremists) originating from India and Afghanistan.
He stated that the courage and bravery with which the armed forces have carried out operations against terrorists is commendable, and the soldiers of the Pakistan Army deserve congratulations for their valor. He said that the armed forces defended the nation’s borders at the cost of their lives and made an example of those who dared cast an evil eye toward Pakistan.
Sardar Yaqoob Khan added that the Pakistan Army has rendered immense sacrifices for national security, and their actions against terrorists in Pakistan are highly praiseworthy. The Army has eliminated elements spreading chaos in the country and saved the nation from major losses, for which they deserve the nation’s salute.
He emphasized that the Army’s personnel proved their readiness to defend the country at any cost by sacrificing their lives for national integrity. Paying glowing tribute to the martyrs, he said the bravery and courage demonstrated by the Army in eliminating terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a matter of great pride for the entire nation.
Sardar Yaqoob Khan said that the entire Kashmiri and Pakistani nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the Army in this war against terrorism, and will continue to support the armed forces in defending the country’s sovereignty, no matter the cost. He reiterated that the Pakistan Army has elevated the dignity of the nation globally, and that the recent defense agreement with the Saudi government is a testament to the Army’s success.
He added that due to the professional capabilities of Pakistan’s armed forces, the country is now seen as a beacon of hope, particularly for the oppressed of the Muslim Ummah.
Sardar Yaqoob Khan also strongly criticized India, saying that Kashmiris are not afraid of Modi’s cowardly threats. If Modi’s government attempts any act of terrorism in Azad Kashmir or Pakistan, the Kashmiri people will join hands with the Army to make an example out of the enemy.
He affirmed that Kashmiris will not allow any malicious Indian designs to succeed, and recalled that a few months ago, the Pakistan Army had strongly retaliated to Indian aggression, proving that they are fully capable of responding to any threat. “We even shot down Indian aircraft by entering Modi’s home turf,” he said, warning that any repeat misadventure will result in Modi becoming an example for all.
He concluded by saying that the Kashmiri nation stands ready to fight shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army on the frontlines to defend the homeland.
