Karachi, (PR) : The NutriConnect 2025 – PNDS Nutrition Conference commenced today with its inaugural ceremony, marking the beginning of a three-day scientific event dedicated to advancing nutrition research, practice, and policy in Pakistan.
The conference, continuing over the next two days, brings together national and international experts, delegates, and practitioners to exchange insights on emerging trends, innovations, and evidence-based approaches in nutrition and public health.
The inaugural session was graced by *Dr. Syed Shabib Ul Hassan* , Vice Chancellor, Hamdard University Islamabad, *Dr. Nazeer Ahmed* , Chief Nutrition Section and SUN Focal Person, Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, and *Maryy Essaw* , President, UK Nutrition Society, who commended PNDS’s efforts in fostering professional excellence and international collaboration in nutrition.
Organized by the Pakistan Nutrition and Dietetic Society (PNDS), the event underscores PNDS’s ongoing commitment to strengthening professional capacity, promoting multidisciplinary partnerships, and nurturing nutrition leadership at both national and global levels.
