Brussels, (PR) : Raja Muhammad Khalid, Chairman of the Youth Wing Europe and President of Istehkam Forum Belgium, warmly welcomed the ceasefire in Gaza. While speaking to the media, he said that it is essential to ensure the dignified release of all prisoners, a sustainable ceasefire, and an end to hostilities. Humanitarian aid and essential supplies must be allowed into Gaza immediately and without obstruction.
Praising the agreement, he paid tribute to the diplomatic efforts of the United States, Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, and appealed to all parties to fully implement the deal and end the suffering of the people of Gaza. He said that the willingness of both Hamas and Israel to accept the first phase of the agreement is an important step toward restoring peace, and he expressed hope that this move will lay the foundation for lasting peace in Gaza.
He emphasized the need for immediate, full, and sincere implementation of the historic agreement so that a new chapter of peace, rehabilitation, and justice may open for the people of Gaza. He stated that the establishment of a Palestinian state should be based on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
He also said that the massacres, bloodshed, and the horrific scenes of dismembered human bodies caused by the occupying Israeli forces demand that genocide cases be pursued at the international level and that the Israeli leadership responsible be brought before international courts.
