Riyadh, (PR) : The International Literary and Cultural Forum hosted a prestigious reception in Riyadh to honor Pir Farooq Baha-ul-Haq Shah, a respected columnist and spiritual heir of Hazrat Pir Karam Shah Al-Azhari, upon his arrival in Saudi Arabia.
The event was presided over by Makhdoom Amin Tajir Shah Gilani, hosted by Adnan Iqbal Butt, and moderated by Waqar Naseem Wamiq.
In his keynote speech, Pir Farooq Shah highlighted Pakistan’s historical strength through unity and called for collective national progress. He praised the role of the armed forces and stressed the importance of political stability and unity for development.
Key attendees included Chaudhry Faryad (Air Sial), Haseeb Sultan and Tauseef Khawar (Embassy of Pakistan), Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Waseem Sajid, Kamran Hasani, Rana Abdul Rauf, Rana Umar Farooq, Syed Saqib Zubair, Zakaullah Mohsin, and Qazi Ishaq Memon.
The program featured Quran recitation by Tauseef ur Rehman, a naat by Qalb Abbas, and an introduction of the guest by Mazhar Iqbal Bhatti. Sindhi Ajraks were presented to Pir Shah and Haseeb Sultan by Qazi Ishaq Memon, while Taimoor Nawaz presented special gifts.
Pir Farooq Baha-ul-Haq Shah described the event as a highlight of his Saudi visit and praised the strong bonds between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Messages of goodwill were also sent by Dr. Riaz Chaudhry (USA) and Dr. Tariq Aziz (Canada).
