Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Pioneer Business Planting and the United Council of Churches jointly organized a business empowerment workshop to educate the youth of the country about business. The special guest of the workshop held in Islamabad was Bishop Javed Siddique, Chairman of the United Council of Churches, while the trainer of the workshop was Pastor Abbot Emmanuel. The workshop was organized by Pastor Samson Sohail, Executive Director of the United Council of Churches, and his team. 90 youth from Christian and other communities participated in the workshop. The aim of the workshops is to educate the youth of the Christian community and other communities about business and to attract them to start their own businesses so that they can not only stand on their own feet but also contribute effectively to the development of the country. In this regard, Pastor Samson Sohail, Executive Director of the United Council of Churches, said that the United Council of Churches, in collaboration with Pioneer Business Planting, organizes such seminars and workshops in different cities of the country. After providing training through workshops, the youth are helped to start businesses. He expressed the hope that this will benefit not only the youth but also the country and the country’s economy will develop further.
