Mirpur, (AJK), (Parliament Times) The 9th convoy of Jammu & Kashmir United Welfare Wing departed today from Mirpur, while the 10th convoy set off from Kotli. On this occasion, Chairman United Welfare Wing, Sardar Rizwan Hanif, while speaking with the team, said that the purpose of their struggle is to deliver timely aid to the affected people and to play every possible role in their rehabilitation. Present at the departure of the convoys were President Jammu & Kashmir United Movement Sardar Babar Hussain, General Secretary Engineer Kashif Jameel, Senior Vice President Saeed Anjum Mughal, Organizer Bhimber Abu Muawiz Muhammad Iqrar, Organizer Mirpur Ch. Muhammad Shoaib, Organizer Kotli Haji Adnan Janjua, Organizer Poonch Aamir Zia, Organizer Muzaffarabad Azmat Hayat along with other officials. The participants of the convoys stated that the rescue and relief operations of the United Welfare Wing, which began from Jhelum, are successfully continuing in Buner, Mingora, Gilgit-Baltistan, Narowal, Zafarwal, Sialkot, Jalalpur Pirwala, and Rahim Yar Khan, where aid is being delivered to affected families. In conclusion, the leaders emphasized that the mission of the United Welfare Wing is not limited to temporary aid but also focuses on supporting affected communities, planning for their rehabilitation, and establishing a sustainable system for their well-being. They appealed to philanthropists, businessmen, youth, and social organizations to contribute to this noble cause so that maximum families can be assisted and helped stand on their feet again.
