    Wildlife Department cracks down on illegal hunting in Attock

    Attock  On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz
    Sharif, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif
    Raza, and led by Assistant Chief Wildlife Ranger Attock Shahzaib
    Khurshid, raids were conducted at various locations in District Attock
    against illegal hunting, trading, and keeping of wild animals and
    birds without licenses.
    During the campaign, under the supervision of SRWR in Tehsil Fateh
    Jang, nets, tapes, and MP3 devices were seized and fines amounting to
    70,000 rupees were imposed, along with the confiscation of a black
    partridge.
    In Hazro Mandi, a team led by ACWR Attock Shahzaib Khurshid and Zafar
    Iqbal, including Wildlife Rangers Khawar, Ehsan, Jehanzeb Pasha,
    Muhammad Ijaz, and Ali Imran, carried out a raid and caught violators
    red-handed, collecting 50,000 rupees in fines.
    In another operation led by Senior Wildlife Inspector Atiya Nosheen,
    along with staff members M. Amjad, Suleman, Aamir Sohail, Qadir
    Rehman, and Suhail Ahmed, a black partridge was recovered in
    Hussainabad, and the accused was fined 300 rupees.
    During vehicle checking at Khushal Garh, four black partridges were
    recovered. In total, fines amounting to 95,000 rupees were imposed on
    four offenders.
