Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, former President and Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Parliamentary Leader of Pakistan Peoples Party, and Member of the Legislative Assembly, has stated that the Azad region can not afford any kind of chaos. The Kashmiri freedom movement is at a critical stage, and the government and people need to sit together to resolve issues and work towards the survival and development of this state.
He emphasized that their ancestors made immense sacrifices to liberate this region, and it is essential to complete their unfinished mission through collective efforts. The construction and development of Base Camp will have a positive impact on the Kashmiri freedom movement.
He further stated that the illegal lockdown in the occupied valley has been ongoing for over 2200 days, and the Kashmiri people are being denied basic human facilities. The occupied valley has been turned into the world’s largest jail, and there are conspiracies to genocide the Kashmiri people. The people of Azad Kashmir need to unite and raise their voice for their oppressed brethren.
He also mentioned that the aIsraeli and Indian forces are committing atrocities in Gaza and the occupied valley, killing young people, and targeting children, women, and the elderly. The Muslim Ummah needs to play an active role in stopping the ongoing oppression in Palestine and the occupied valley.
He praised the bravery of the Kashmiri and Palestinian nations, saying they stand like a solid wall against every conspiracy and oppression. He expressed confidence that the day of freedom will soon dawn for Kashmiris and Palestinians.
He also lauded the Pakistan Army’s efforts in protecting the country’s borders, saying that the entire world recognizes the Pakistan Army as one of the best armies in the world. The victory in the battle of truth is an example of the Pakistan Army’s achievements, and the entire Kashmiri and Pakistani nation takes pride in its armed forces.
