Jeddah – The Social Relations Committee organized a graceful dinner reception in honor of leading community figures, which was attended by a large number of representatives from various groups and forums.
The event was presided over by renowned scholar, researcher, and academic personality Professor Dr. Muhammad Moinuddin, while the Guest of Honor was Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood, President of the Investors Forum. The proceedings were conducted by Raja Muhammad Riaz, President of the Social Relations Committee. The program commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an by Qari Muhammad Asif, followed by a Na’at in praise of the Holy Prophet ? by noted Na’at reciter Raza Malik.
Speakers including Shahid Naseem, Sardar Muhammad Ashfaq Khan, Ashfaq Badaiyuni, and Engineer Muhammad Afzal Ghazi expressed gratitude to Raja Muhammad Riaz and shed light on various aspects of the Seerat-un-Nabi ? (the life of the Prophet). They particularly addressed the issue of the interest-based financial system in their speeches.
Guest of Honor Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood highlighted the relevance of Seerat-un-Nabi ? in today’s circumstances, while the Chairman of the gathering, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Moinuddin, presented a comparative review and urged participants to adopt the teachings of the Prophet ? in their lives.
The event concluded with a Na’at by prominent journalist and Na’at Khawan Hafiz Muhammad Irfan Khattana, followed by a heartfelt prayer by Engineer Arif Mughal. Special supplications were made for the progress of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, as well as for the freedom of Kashmir and Palestine.
