Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : Zahir Latif Sulahria , a central leader of the Pakistan People’s Party, in a special message on the occasion of Independence Day, said that August 14 reminds us of the sacrifice, struggle, and determination on the basis of which Pakistan was achieved. He said that this day gives us an opportunity to renew our pledge that we will play every possible role for the country’s security, development, and stability of democracy.
He said that the Pakistan People’s Party has always given sacrifices for people’s rights, democratic traditions, and the stability of state institutions. On this day, we should also remember those martyrs who offered their lives for freedom and democracy. He emphasized to the young generation to value independence, make love for the country their identity, and play a constructive role so that Pakistan can be made a truly developed and prosperous state.
