Brussels, (PR) : Chaudhry Naeem Akhtar, Chairman of Jammu & Kashmir Forum France and former Coordinator to the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir for Europe, stated that Army Chief and Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir delivered an excellent address during the historic event titled Battle of Truth – Day of Gratitude. He said the purpose of organizing this event was for the Pakistani diaspora to pay heartfelt tribute to the armed forces and to reaffirm their full support to them forces that not only responded to the aggression of an enemy eight times larger but inflicted significant damage, making it clear that any misconceptions about Pakistan should be discarded.
He remarked that among overseas Pakistanis and Kashmiris who truly love their homeland, Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir enjoys one hundred percent popularity. The credit for the victory in the Battle of Truth goes to the Army Chief and Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir, whom they salute and congratulate on being awarded the rank of Field Marshal.
He said that until now, they had only heard stories of wars between Pakistan and India, but in May 2025, they witnessed firsthand how the brave Pakistani forces forced the enemy to surrender within a few hours, compelling it to agree to a ceasefire. The Pakistan Army accomplished something that was also praised by international media.He further stated that by defeating India 6-0, Pakistan has earned global recognition and has proven that the Pakistan Army is a powerful force fully capable of confronting enemies under any circumstances.Later Chaudhry Naeem expressed his gratitude to the host and organizer of the Battle of Truth and Gratitude Conference, Chairman of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation Syed Qamar Raza Shah, and Chairman of Pakistan Business Forum Europe Sardar Zahoor Iqbal, along with all the event organizers.
