Jeddah : In the Saudi coastal city of Jeddah, prominent businessman and social personality Mian Tariq Abdul Majeed Arain hosted a grand dinner in honor of journalists from Shahkot, Pakistan, who had recently performed Umrah.
The event was attended by former Federal Minister Chaudhry Shehbaz Ahmed, former Advisor to the Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Azhar Abbas Warraich, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Saudi Arabia Chairman Chaudhry Akram Gujjar, representatives of the Yaran-e-Jeddah group, officials of the Pakistan Media Journalists Forum, and other notable members of the Pakistani community.
Host Mian Tariq Abdul Majeed Arain warmly welcomed the guests, congratulated them on the spiritual blessing of Umrah, and praised their journalistic and community services. Chaudhry Akram Gujjar lauded the spirit of unity within the community and extended best wishes to the visiting delegation.
Expressing gratitude to the host, Farhan Arshad Bhatti said such gatherings abroad foster happiness and a sense of belonging, adding that overseas Pakistanis are a valuable asset to the country’s economy.
The evening concluded with a special prayer for Pakistan’s prosperity and development, led by Sahibzada Ali Raza, custodian of the Nolakha Hazari shrine.
