Rawalakot,(Parliament Times) :The University of Poonch Rawalakot hosted a seminar on the theme “Reflecting on Educational Theory and Practice: Classical and Contemporary Approaches”, aimed at fostering critical discussions on the evolving landscape of education.

The event featured Dr. Imran Hussain Khan Sadozai, Adjunct Professor of Education, as the guest speaker. In his thought-provoking address, Dr. Imran emphasized the privilege of higher education, reminding students that studying at a university is an opportunity still beyond the reach of many in Pakistan. “You are among the fortunate few to have access to higher education — a dream that remains unfulfilled for countless others in our society,” he noted. He encouraged students to fully embrace this opportunity by striving for meaningful learning and innovation, and by integrating classical foundations with modern educational techniques that promote creativity, adaptability, and critical thinking.

Dr. Imran’s remarks were followed by a lively question-and-answer session, during which students posed insightful and relevant questions, creating an engaging dialogue around the seminar’s topic.

The seminar was attended by Dr. Lubna, Assistant Professor from the Department of Computer Science & IT, along with several other faculty members, who contributed to the academic spirit of the occasion. Dr. Mubashir Ali Khaliq, Lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Medicine and the focal person for the seminar, expressed his gratitude to Dr. Imran for his valuable insights and for inspiring the students with his message.
