JUI has the faith in parliamentary politics: Maulana Qari Muhammad Jahangir Nakshbandi

Muzaffarabad, (Parliament  Times) : The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Jamm u and Kashmir is the guardian of the country’s ideological borders and has faith in parliamentary politics. The party is currently engaged in a membership drive across Azad Kashmir, including refugee constituencies. The party will contest the upcoming elections with full preparation.

The central election in-charge, Maulana Maaroof Ahmad, and assistant election in-charge, Maulana Qari Muhammad Jahangir Nakshbandi, addressed review meetings regarding the membership drive in Sudhnoti, Kahuta, Bagh, and Rawalpindi. They emphasized that the ulema have played a crucial role in shaping the parliament and ensuring that laws are in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah.

The party’s leadership highlighted the importance of membership drive and urged everyone to play their role in organizing the party. They also emphasized the party’s commitment to democratic struggle and its mission to promote Islamic values.

The party’s leaders will visit other tehsils to brief the Kashmiri community about the party’s cause and mission, with the aim of increasing membership and support for the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Jammu and Kashmir.

They further said that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam is the only party that has a clear and transparent democratic system for membership and organizational structure. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam is the largest religious and political party in the country, with the support of 90% of the ulema. Our mission is to unite the scattered forces of Muslims under the leadership of Islamic scholars and to strive for the establishment of a system based on Islamic principles, and to protect Islam and the Islamic way of life.

We aim to guide Muslims in all aspects of life, including politics, religion, economy, and governance, based on the Quran and Sunnah, and to promote a comprehensive and integrated system of Islamic education. We also strive to promote a system of education that instills fear of God, obedience to Islamic principles, and the ability to perform Islamic duties.

They said that the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s manifesto includes protecting the constitutional and legal status of Islam as a complete and perfect religion, and the finality of prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him). The party will use the caliphate and companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a model for Islamic governance. The education system will be completely Islamic, with free education and a uniform system of education. The autonomy of religious schools will be preserved.
