Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : Information Secretary Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Javed Ayoub has expressed serious reservations over the statements of Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Rana Sanaullah regarding the Azad Kashmir elections and the alleged pre-poll rigging intentions.
He warned that if the federal government or the PML-N tried to interfere or rig the electoral process in Azad Kashmir, there would be serious consequences.
He said that the people of Azad Kashmir are conscious, proud and believe in democracy. If any kind of electoral adventure is attempted here, the PML-N will not only face the worst political defeat in Kashmir but will also not get support in the federation.
He demanded that the Prime Minister of Pakistan, federal institutions and the top leadership of the PML-N should take immediate notice of this matter and ensure that the people of Azad Kashmir are given the right to a free, transparent and fair electoral process.
