    Minister Zafar Iqbal Malik Launches Election Campaign in Kotli AJK

    KOTLI ( Parliament Times): Minister for Higher Education Zafar Iqbal Malik has officially launched his election campaign for the 2026 elections. The campaign kick-started in Union Council Kakanni, where personalities from various sectors and dozens of families have joined Malik’s political convoy, pledging their support in the upcoming general elections.
    A grand gathering was organized under the host of Malik Yasir Azeem, where prominent figures announced their joining Zafar Iqbal Malik’s convoy. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the local youth, who welcomed Malik with flower petals and garlands.
    Addressing the Gathering,Minister Zafar Iqbal Malik expressed gratitude to the people of the constituency for their support in the local body elections. He emphasized his determination to eliminate unemployment and developmental deprivation from the constituency, highlighting the government’s achievements in infrastructure development. Malik mentioned specific projects, including
    Road Development,Completion of Bandhor to Bagah road, Las Road, Bandian Road, and Brothian Road, with tenders issued for Tatta Pani Bagah Kakni Road.
    On Health and Education he said establishment of a first aid center at Bandhor, a civil dispensary, and upgrading of schools, including Middle Girls School Bagah to a high school and Panakha to a higher secondary school.
    About Local Government Sectors he counted allocation of schemes worth three crores and provision of water and communication roads.
    He highlighted the government’s Performance and Future Plans
    Malik highlighted the government’s commitment to adapting the education system to modern requirements and addressing the needs of the local community. He also congratulated the nation and armed forces on the success of Operation Banyan Marsus.
    The Minister’s election campaign marks a significant step towards the 2026 elections, with a focus on development and public welfare. The gathering concluded with prayers for the security, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan and the freedom of occupied Kashmir.
