Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) Political and social leader Chaudhry Inaam Zafar said that the Karbala incident is name for raising the voice of truth against oppression. Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) accepted martyrdom, but remained steadfast in the truth. He was the standard-bearer of the religion of Islam. Islam is not complete by just reciting the Kalima, but by taking practical steps on the path shown by Allah, religion and personality are strengthened.
Expressing his thoughts on the occasion of Muharram, he said that everyone is proud of the great martyr Imam Hazrat Sayyiduna Imam Hussain (RA), he is a living embodiment of truth, justice and the religion of Islam. The Prophet of the Last Days (peace be upon him) said: “Hussain is from me and I am from Hussain.” Chaudhry Inam Zafar said that there is a pure hadith in Jami’ Tirmidhi that Hazrat Imam Hassan and Hazrat Imam Hussain are the leaders of the youth in Paradise.” Therefore, parents and teachers should enlighten their children and youth about all aspects of the life of Hazrat Imam Hussain. They should inform the young generation about the aims and objectives of the religion of Islam, so that their personalities can flourish and they can be guided to choose the right direction at every stage of life. He further said that the incident of Karbala took place on 10th Muharram in present-day Iraq at the place of Karbala. Where Hazrat Imam Hussain along with his family and companions faced the army of Yazid and was martyred. This teaches us a lesson in justice and fairness. No human being should remain silent, undoubtedly death is right, the martyrdom of Imam Hussain gives us the message that Karbala is not just a incident, but also a historical place. It is the name of the struggle for the supremacy of Islam and truth among the people.
