    Minister Ch. Shafay Hussain meets Mr. Victor, CEO of China’s Zhejiang Lanyu Digital Technology Company, at PSIC House

    Lahore, (PR) : Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Chaudhry Shafay Hussain met with Mr. Victor, CEO of China’s Zhejiang Lanyu Digital Technology Company, at PSIC House. The Chinese group indicated its interest in investing in the textile digital printing sector. The Chinese group expressed interest in setting up a textile digital printing factory in the Special Economic Zone, Faisalabad.

    Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce said that the Chinese group should invest in Punjab, the government will provide all possible support. Several Chinese companies have invested billions of dollars in Punjab, more companies are ready to invest here.Investors in special economic zones enjoy special incentives. There is a 10-year income tax exemption on investment here and the facility of one-time duty-free machinery import is also available.

    Chaudhry Shafay Hussain said that a community center is being built for foreign investors in the special economic zone under the auspices of FIEDMC. Investors are being issued NOCs under one roof at a rapid pace to start business activities. He said that it is my resolve to bring new investment to Punjab. If new industries are set up, people will also get employment opportunities.

    The Punjab Minister for Industries and Commerce said that on the instructions of CM Punjab, a garment city is being built in Quaid-e-Azam Business Park, Sheikhupura. The Chinese group can collaborate with Punjab’s technical education institutions to provide training in digital printing services. The Chinese group will be provided with land as per its requirement to invest in Punjab.

    Secretary Housing Noor-ul-Amin Mengal, DG Punjab Board of Investment Dr. Sohail Ahmed, officials of the Chinese company and local industrialists were also present in the meeting.
