Raja Zafar Hussain Khan (Late) The One Who Was Never Forgotten, Returned Unmeasured in Memory Again Today

    Raja Amjad Hussain
Man, though confined by time and space, cannot detach his soul from his body despite all desire. When the soul departs for the eternal abode, the wishes, emotions, goals, and love of those left behind in this mortal world come to an end with the divine program of “Every soul shall taste death.” From “Khalaqal Insaan Min Alaq” (He created man from a clot) to “Kullu Nafsin Za’iqatul Maut” (Every soul shall taste death), life’s memories, its beauty, the sweetness of gatherings, the freshness of emotions—all become cherished assets for the living. And when someone dear silently bids farewell with a soft smile and quiet steps, the home turns into a house—a place where the inhabitant is no longer truly present. Thirteen years ago, on 25th June 2012, the Chief Editor and Founder of Daily Do Mail, Muzaffarabad, Haji Raja Zafar Hussain Khan, departed from this world, leaving behind his family, loved ones, and friends—me among them. Though 13 years have passed, that fateful day still feels like doomsday for our family. His memories—his words, his smile, his gentle tone, and his graceful demeanor—are treasures for me and my family. Yet, this treasure was snatched from us, and those memories now only echo in the corners of the heart. The smiles once synchronized with our heartbeat now bring a painful silence. His kindness, his grace, his love—all are now haunting echoes of what once was. Is all of this just a question? My heart responds: Why? Even in that “why” lies the philosophy—from birth to death, from “Khalaqal Insaan” to “Kullu Nafsin Za’iqatul Maut”, from the realm of the mortal to the eternal, from dust to dust. So, what complaint can one make? This sorrow is written in the fate of every soul, and every soul shall pass through it. Whoever comes must go, and certainly will. Graveyards spread across the earth, lined with organized graves, testify that no one is indispensable. All who arrived here completed their share of life, their duties, and set off for their final destination. The Angel of Death gives not even a moment’s delay—one breath is drawn in, and the next moment it escapes, breaking the bond between body and soul. A person, in an instant, departs from his family, his loved ones, his friends—but what remains in this world is their character, their morals, their journey of service, which becomes history and legacy. Haji Raja Zafar Hussain’s life, his values, and his service are part of that enduring legacy. His life was a model of dignity, honesty, and principled living. He never harmed anyone, never hurt another’s heart. Despite difficult circumstances, he remained steadfast and never compromised on self-respect, honor, or integrity. His life is a guide, an asset worth emulating—for me, my family, and those who admired him. I request all his friends, well-wishers, readers of Daily Do Mail, and viewers of Do Mail Digital News to recite Durood Shareef, Surah Al-Fatiha, and Surah Al-Ikhlas for the elevation of his soul on the occasion of his 13th death anniversary today. I, too, join you in this prayer. May Allah elevate the ranks of the late Raja Zafar Hussain. Ameen. The love I had for him cannot be measured, counted, or claimed. He, who was never forgotten—today, is remembered again… beyond measure
