Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Pakistan People’s Party Azad Kashmir (PPP-AJK) central leader Zahir Latif Sulehria has said that the people of Azad Kashmir joining the PPP in droves is proof that the Kashmiri nation considers the PPP as its savior.

The high-level manner in which Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has handled the diplomatic front is commendable. After the martyrdom of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto, Bilawal Bhutto presented Pakistan’s position to the world in a very lively manner. Regarding Kashmir, Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto had a clear and firm stance that Kashmiris should be given the right to self-determination in accordance with UN resolutions.

He added that the PPP is the future of the country, from the Benazir Income Support Program to the establishment of medical colleges and universities in Azad Kashmir and the construction of roads, all these are the works of the PPP. President Asif Ali Zardari gave all the powers to the parliament. The PPP has played a strong role from day one for the strengthening of democracy.

He said that we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Pakistan Army and the Pakistani people on Pakistan’s victory in the Pak-India war. We are all working together for the strength of Pakistan. He said that the foundation of the PPP was laid for the Kashmir cause. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Nazir Bhutto and Bilawal Bhutto have played a very courageous role.

He said that in the Pakistan-India war, where the Pakistan Army played a very active role and defeated the enemy with great courage and bravery, the media fought a very vigorous battle, for which we pay tribute.
